LOOKS GREAT PLANTED IN MASS
Talk about pretty in pink! The Carmine King variety of the always popular California Poppy is a celebrity in its own right. The bright pink colors make it shine like a true garden star! As with all California Poppies, Carmine is an annual in colder climates and a perennial in warmer regions, blooming from early April through August. The blooms resemble delicate paper flowers, with pink petals and bright yellow stamen. If planted in well drained soil, these Poppies will thrive with very little water; they are very drought tolerant. This plant grows from 1 to 1.5 feet and are perfect for backdrops, unstructured English style gardens and meadow patches.
The Carmine King are lovely and regal, and a perfect choice for border planting, rock gardens and focal patch gardening. Plant them in massive clusters, the visual appeal is amazing. This versatile flower is also great as a border plant around a group of larger flowering plants. Seeds are packaged and germination tested for current year.
