BEAUTIFUL PINK COLOR, EASY TO GROW
Zinnia Luminosa grows soft, pastel pink petals that are a lovely addition to any garden that features pastel blooms. The flowers make excellent cut blooms in flower arrangements, lasting as long as seven days in a vase. Cutting flowers encourages more blooms to grow in their place, giving gardeners a continuous supply of blooms throughout the blooming season. The light pink color and the pale yellow center make this Zinnia interesting to look at as well as a useful flower bed addition. Butterflies flock to this flower, providing even more color for a gardener to enjoy.
Plant Zinnia Luminosa seeds outdoors after the last frost of the spring is over. The plants need full sunlight and soil with good drainage. The soil temperature should be about 75 degrees for optimal germination. Once the seeds have been planted, germination takes place within two weeks. Once the plants have emerged, water them from the ground rather than from overhead to keep them healthy. Seeds are packaged and germination tested for the current year.
